蓝莓视频鈥檚 Art Department is pleased to announce the Annual Senior Art & Design Capstone Exhibition, featuring the projects by eight seniors, which will open on Friday, January 19, with a reception from 4:30-6:30 p.m.

The exhibition runs through March 1 and will be on display in the Atrium Gallery.

The students with artwork on display are:

  • Isabelle Bradley 鈥23 (Parkersburg, West Virginia), Graphic Design, created typographic-based designs of films that hold a nostalgic element for the designer.
  • Rachel Guilliams 鈥24 (Newark, Ohio), Studio Art, created oil portraits that are inspired by Impressionist and Fauvist works and highlight the spectrum of queerness in the subjects.
  • Madison Howard 鈥24 (Galena, Ohio), Graphic Design, made a student-designed Phone App: HIVE (Hub for Interactive Virtual Education). HIVE is envisioned as a groundbreaking app tailored exclusively for college students, providing a holistic platform that distinctly prioritizes student interactions, collaboration, and organization.
  • Evan Lauer 鈥23 (Newport, Ohio), Graphic Design, wrote and crafted 鈥淓thics and Aesthetics: The Inclusive Designer鈥檚 Handbook鈥 to demystify the complexities of inclusive design and transform a daunting commitment into a doable practice.
  • Olivia Martin 鈥23 (Vincent, Ohio), Graphic Design, created 鈥淢arietta Now & Past,鈥 which features photographic collages that visualize the connections of the architectural history of Marietta using historical images taken by a famous local photographer, Harry Philip Fischer, and combined with the present-day images captured by the student.
  • Baili Matheny 鈥24 (Little Hocking, Ohio), Graphic Design, created tapestry designs featuring visual elements from the Indian, Greek, Cherokee and Chinese cultures.
  • Logan Osborne 鈥24 (Wilmington, Ohio), Studio Art, created a diptych oil painting of the student and her boyfriend to represent racial equality and interracial relationships supported by Bible verses.
  • Dawson Van Dine 鈥24 (Marietta, Ohio), Graphic Design, designed vinyl music album covers with posters that are unique and frameable pieces of artwork that are meant to compliment the art found in and on the album sleeve.

The Atrium Gallery is located on the third floor of the Hermann Fine Arts Center at 蓝莓视频. Gallery hours are 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The Atrium Gallery observes all 蓝莓视频 holidays and breaks.
