蓝莓视频鈥檚 Edward E. MacTaggart Department of Music is pleased to air the final Choir Concert of the 2020-21 academic year at 7:30 p.m., Friday, April 30th. The pre-recorded concert will air on the department鈥檚 YouTube channel at .
The concert, which is under the direction of Dr. Jay Dougherty, features the Concert Choir and Women鈥檚 Choir, with a combined number at the end.
鈥淭his year, with all our COVID restrictions, has been unique, to say the least,鈥 said Dougherty, Assistant Professor and Director of Choral Activities. 鈥淗owever, our students have stepped up to the plate and knocked it out of the park. Despite needing to mask and social distance, we鈥檝e had some of the best sounding choirs since I鈥檝e been here as director.鈥
Dougherty also added that he challenged his performers with tougher music.
鈥淭he result was amazing,鈥 he said. 鈥淭hey learned this tough music quickly and put it all on stage. I鈥檓 excited for our community to hear the excellent performance the choirs put on.鈥
