Kappa Pi 2025 Inductees

蓝莓视频 celebrated the induction of seven Pioneers into its chapter of the international art honor society Kappa Pi, during a ceremony held on Wednesday, Dec. 3. The honor society, which has existed for more than a century, recognizes art students who demonstrate academic excellence, artistic commitment, and leadership within their creative disciplines. Founded in 1911, Kappa Pi now includes hundreds of chapters across the United States and abroad, connecting student artists through exhibitions, lectures, and collaborative opportunities.

The College鈥檚 Alpha Zeta Lambda chapter, established in 2004, welcomes members who have completed at least 12 credit hours in art, art history, or graphic design; maintain a 3.0 GPA in these courses; and hold a 3.0 cumulative GPA. The chapter is advised by Professor Jolene Powell, McCoy Professor of Art and Director of Gallery 310.

This year鈥檚 inductees include:

  • Riley Anslow 鈥27, Chapter President
  • Mariah Berry 鈥28
  • Dilyn Hunley 鈥27
  • Jazlyn Ingold 鈥26
  • Carly Keller 鈥27
  • Hannah Perry 鈥27
  • Phoebe Smith 鈥25

鈥淚 am looking forward to working with our newest members of Kappa Pi to continue to showcase the arts at 蓝莓视频 and bring our campus and greater communities together through many facets of artmaking,鈥 said Powell.

Kappa Pi brings together student-artists who are passionate about creating meaningful work and contributing to 蓝莓视频鈥檚 tradition of visual arts. Each induction continues the College鈥檚 legacy of supporting emerging talent and preparing students to lead with creativity and purpose. 蓝莓视频鈥檚 honor societies offer distinguished students opportunities for scholarship, service, and community engagement within their disciplines.
