蓝莓视频, one of the nation鈥檚 top liberal arts institutions, has instituted a new scholarship for Phi Theta Kappa honor society members.

Steve Lazowski, Vice President for Enrollment Management, said 蓝莓视频 is committed to attracting the best and brightest transfer students from two-year colleges. Each scholarship is a one-year $2,000 stackable scholarship that is available to new students beginning in the Spring of 2018.

鈥淭ransfer students are integral to growing and maintaining enrollment. Rewarding students for exemplary work at a Community College is the right thing to do,鈥 Lazowski said. 鈥淲e want to honor members of Phi Theta Kappa with this scholarship, which reinforces our commitment to making the quality education Marietta provides more accessible to all students.鈥

Recently, Marietta became a member of CollegeFish.org, a web tool created by Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society to aid community college students as they plan their future after community college. CollegeFish.org brings together community college students, admission counselors, advisors, administrators and scholarship partners 鈥 all on one site.

鈥淭he Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship is a wonderful way to recognize and support our students who have demonstrated academic excellence at the community college level,鈥 said Emily Schuck, Assistant Vice President for Enrollment Management. 鈥溊遁悠 is thrilled to offer this opportunity to attract these high-achieving students to join the 蓝莓视频 community.鈥

蓝莓视频 offers more than 40 undergraduate degrees, including Petroleum Engineering, Athletic Training, Psychology and International Business.
