À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ's student body will begin online voting for the 2021 Homecoming queen and king on Tuesday, October 19th - and this year the voting should be competitive with 13 candidates.
The 2021 Homecoming Court is made up of eight queen candidates and five king candidates. .
The winners will be announced at Don Drumm Stadium during halftime of the Pioneers' football game against John Carroll University on Saturday, October 23rd. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. in the Ohio Athletic Conference game. The Pioneers are 3-3 overall and 3-2 in the OAC.
This year's Queen candidates are:
- Katelyn Delaney (Batavia, Ohio) was nominated by the women's soccer team and she is majoring in Sports Medicine.
- Ashley Godenschwager (Nelsonville, Ohio) was nominated by the Chi Omega sorority and she is majoring in Educational Studies.
- Kaitlyn Liston (Little Hocking, Ohio) was nominated by the women's basketball team and she is majoring in Management.
- Shelby Millheim (Bethlehem, Pennsylvania) was nominated by the women's lacrosse team and she is majoring in Chemistry.
- Natalie Payton (St. Marys, West Virginia) was nominated by the softball team and she is majoring in Management, Marketing and Political Science.
- Katen Petty (New Matamoras, Ohio) was nominated by the Alpha Xi Delta sorority and she is majoring in Marketing.
- Emma Purington (Columbus, Ohio) was nominated by the Sigma Kappa sorority and she majoring in Biology.
- Lauryn Ward (Mineral Wells, West Virginia) was nominated by the À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ Dance Team and she is majoring in Political Science.
This year's King candidates are:
- Felipe Cruz (Marietta, Ohio) was nominated by the À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ Cheerleaders and he is majoring in Communication Studies.
- Andrew Novak (Sewickley, Pennsylvania) was nominated by the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity and he is majoring in Political Science.
- Dale Randulic (Quaker City, Ohio) was nominated by the Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity and is majoring in Journalism/Broadcasting.
- Tyler Walker (Cambridge, Ohio) was nominated by the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity and he is majoring History.
- Braeden Wallace (Elkton, Virginia) was nominated by the Office of Community Living and he is majoring in English.
